Guarantees of origin of electricity from renewable energy sources is a document exclusively used to prove to the final customer that the amount of electricity specified therein was generated in a renewable energy source. The document can be used by entities striving for environmental protection to:

increase the share / amount of so-called green energy in its consumption,
reduce emissions,
reduce the so-called carbon footprint.

Guarrantees of origin are documents issued independently to obligatory property rights so-called green certicates as a part of energy price.
